Description

The Tival Sensors FF 4-2 DAH is a mechanical pressure switch for monitoring and switching water, oil and air pressure. Process pressure acts on a Perbunan diaphragm that operates an SPDT snap-action contact, so no power supply is needed for the measurement itself and the switch can be wired directly into a control or alarm circuit.

The upper switching point is adjustable from 0.11 to 2 bar and the lower switching point from 0.04 to 1.89 bar, set independently against an internal scale that stays visible through the transparent polycarbonate cover. The body is die-cast aluminium alloy with a G 3/8" female connection in AlSi12 silumin, the maximum pressure is 20 bar, medium temperature is permitted up to 70 °C, and the enclosure is rated IP54 / IP65. The switch is built to VDE 0660, IEC 337-1 and IEC 553-1.

It is used on pump and compressor control, water booster, firefighting and compressed air sets, lubrication and cooling circuits, and on pipelines, tanks and vessels where machinery has to be protected against loss or excess of pressure.

When ordering, state the switching points required, the port thread and the medium, and check that the diaphragm material suits the fluid. The part number for this configuration is 1010061.
