Pipes & Tubes

Stainless steel pipe and tube, carbon steel pipe, and hydraulic tube. Pipe is specified by nominal bore and schedule; tube is specified by actual outside diameter and wall thickness, and the two are not interchangeable even where the figures look close. On hydraulic tube the wall thickness follows the working pressure and the bend radius the run needs, and the tube is best ordered together with the compression fittings it will be made up with, so that tube OD and ferrule match.
