This is the duty where parts are least interchangeable with water or air components. Flare fittings, hose rated and marked for the service, and a leak detector wired to close a solenoid valve are what make a kitchen or plant line safe to leave running unattended.

When enquiring, give the medium, the pressure on both sides of the regulator, the connection sizes and threads, and the solenoid voltage.
