Steam

Steam traps, which drain condensate out of a steam system without letting live steam pass: the TD42 and CS11H models, listed in stainless steel and carbon steel bodies. A trap is selected for the duty it sits on rather than for the pipe size, because drip legs on a steam main, tracing lines and process equipment each present a different condensate load and back pressure, and a trap that is right on one is wrong on another. Give the working pressure, the connection size and thread and what the trap is draining, and check that the condensate can get away freely downstream.
