Flg & Fittings
Flanges and fittings, split into two ways of joining pipework: welded and threaded pipe work — flanges, butt weld fittings and threaded fittings in carbon and stainless steel — and compression tube fittings for instrument and small-bore tubing. Pipework is ordered by nominal size, schedule and pressure class or flange standard; tube fittings are ordered by the actual outside diameter of the tube. Confusing the two systems is the commonest ordering error in this section, and it is worth stating on the enquiry which one you mean.
