ACL

ACL is an Italian solenoid valve maker founded in 1987 and based at Cavenago di Brianza, near Milan. The range is 2/2 and 3/2 solenoid valves - normally closed or normally open, direct acting or servo (pilot) operated - with brass, stainless steel and plastic bodies, connections from M5 to G3 and duties from vacuum up to around 100 bar, for air, water, steam, oil and other fluids compatible with those materials. What is listed here is the brass-bodied general service valve. Specify port size and thread, orifice and the flow the circuit needs, and the pressure differential across the valve - a servo-operated valve needs a minimum differential before it will open, which is the usual reason a valve sized on flow alone fails to work. Then give the fluid and its temperature, the seal material (NBR, FKM/Viton, or EPDM and PTFE for steam), and the coil voltage, duty rating and enclosure protection.
