ACL 107 Series Brass Solenoid Valve

Model E107BB10///30E

ACL Series 107 is a 2/2 normally closed, servo-assisted diaphragm solenoid valve with a brass body, published in sizes G1/4" to G3". It needs a minimum differential of 0.15 bar to open (0.3 bar in the largest sizes), for on-off control of water, air and light oils.

Description

The ACL 107 Series is a two-way, normally closed solenoid valve of servo-assisted diaphragm construction. The coil lifts a small pilot poppet and line pressure acting across the diaphragm then opens the main orifice. Because the pilot circuit works off line pressure, the valve requires a minimum differential pressure between inlet and outlet - 0.15 bar up to G2", 0.3 bar at G2.1/2" and G3" - and will not open on zero differential.

Body and cover are brass (low-lead brass, NSF 61); the armature tube is AISI 303, plunger and core AISI 430FR and the springs AISI 302. Seals are NBR as standard, with EPDM and FPM offered, and EPDM also available WRAS certified. Maximum allowable pressure is PS 25 bar up to G1.1/4" and PS 20 bar on the larger sizes, reduced to PS 2.5 bar gauge on steam, and maximum fluid viscosity is 25 cSt. The preferred mounting position is vertical with the coil above.

Typical duties are on-off control of water, compressed air, light oils and other low-viscosity liquids in plant services, irrigation, tank filling and washdown lines. The IP65 rating applies only with the connector fitted; the coil is IP00 without it, which matters wherever the valve sits outdoors or in a wash-down area.

When ordering, state connection size, seal material, orifice, coil voltage and frequency, and any option required — manual override, reinforced diaphragm for higher differential, slow-closing diaphragm, nickel plating or an ATEX explosion-proof coil. ACL's type number encodes all of these, so quoting the full code avoids the wrong build being supplied.
