RIV

RIV - Rubinetterie Italiane Velatta S.p.A. - has made brass valves at Grignasco, in the province of Novara, since 1950, for plumbing, industrial, waterworks, irrigation, livestock and slurry tanker and biogas service. Three RIV valves are listed here, all from that last group: the RIV 230 spring-operated pressure relief valve with free discharge, the RIV 250, which is the same valve with a hose connection so the discharge can be piped away from the working area, and the RIV 290 vacuum relief valve, which admits air to stop a tank or line collapsing as it is emptied or when a pump draws down on a closed vessel. RIV also builds calibrated and sealed versions of the relief valves, for cases where the set pressure has to be certified and left untouched. Specify the set pressure, the connection thread, the discharge arrangement and whether the valve must be supplied calibrated and sealed.
