Description
The DK-Lok DL series is a 90° union elbow for double-ferrule compression tubing. It turns a tubing run through a right angle at the fitting rather than in the tube, which removes the need for a tight bend, reduces stress in the tube wall and keeps runs compact inside panels and enclosures.
Both ends take the tube directly. As each nut is drawn up, the front ferrule seals against the elbow body and the back ferrule grips the tube, giving a leak-tight joint that holds under vibration and pressure cycling and that can be re-made with standard tools. Body, nut and ferrules are 316 stainless steel.
It is used on instrumentation and control lines, hydraulic and pneumatic tubing, and process and utility service lines. Equal-ended elbows are offered in 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" and 5/8" tube OD; the DLR reducing elbow turns the corner and changes tube size in the same fitting.
When ordering, state the tube outside diameter at each end and quote the order code — DL-8-S for a 1/2" elbow, DLR-8-4-S for a 1/2" x 1/4" reducing elbow. All codes listed are the -S build in 316 stainless steel.
