Description
The DK-Lok DLF series is a 90° female elbow. One leg takes instrument or process tubing on a compression joint, the other is a female NPT thread. It turns a tubing run through a right angle at the point where it lands on a threaded port, which shortens the run and takes the bending stress off the tube where space behind an instrument or a panel is tight.
Sealing on the tube leg is by the double-ferrule principle: the front ferrule seals against the fitting body while the back ferrule bites onto the tube and holds it, so the joint resists vibration and pressure cycling and can be broken and re-made with ordinary spanners. Body, nut and ferrules are 316 stainless steel throughout.
Typical duties are instrumentation and control lines, hydraulic and pneumatic tubing, and process and utility service lines.
When ordering, state the tube outside diameter and the female NPT size and quote the order code from the specification table. The size listed is DLF-4-8N-S, 1/4" tube OD to 1/2" female NPT in 316 stainless steel; other combinations in the series are made to order.
