The DK-Lok DT series is a union tee for double-ferrule compression tubing. Its three tube ends let a line be split or two lines combined, and are the usual way of taking a branch off an instrument line for a gauge, a transmitter or a drain point.
Each end is made up the same way: the nut draws the front ferrule against the tee body to form the seal while the back ferrule grips the tube, so the connection stays tight under vibration and repeated pressure cycles and can be broken and re-made in service. The tee is 316 stainless steel throughout.
It is used on instrumentation and control lines, hydraulic and pneumatic tubing, and process and utility service lines. Equal-ended tees are offered in 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4" tube OD. Where the branch is smaller than the run, the DTR reducing tee takes 1/2" on the run and 1/4" on the branch.
When ordering, state the tube outside diameter at each of the three ends and quote the order code — DT-8-S for a 1/2" tee, DTR-8-8-4-S for a 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/4" reducing tee. All codes listed are the -S build in 316 stainless steel.
