The JPE QC Series is a middle and low pressure quick connect coupling for instrument and process lines. Connection is by push-in action, and the twin-valve design closes both halves separately as they are parted, so a line can be broken without draining or venting it first.
This is the plug half: a 1/4" female NPT connection in a 316L stainless steel body with an FKM O-ring, rated to a maximum 21 kgf/cm² (300 psi). It is designed to pair with the matching JPE QC Series socket of the same nominal size, order code AS6-QCS02F-N(V). The full order code for this plug is AS6-QCP02F-N(V).
Typical use is at instrumentation tubing and process connection points, on industrial media and compressed air lines that must be broken quickly, and at maintenance points where equipment has to be isolated or a line changed over. The stainless construction suits laboratory, semiconductor, petrochemical, oil and biopharmaceutical service, and water and oil lines within the rated pressure and material compatibility limits.
When ordering, state the coupling half required, the thread size and form, and the seal material, and order the mating half at the same time where a complete set is needed.
