Description

The Sanrex DF series is a three-phase bridge rectifier module. Six power diodes are connected as a full three-phase bridge inside a single package, converting three-phase AC into DC. The mounting base is electrically isolated from the terminals to 2500 V RMS, so several modules can be bolted to a common heatsink without separate insulating hardware.

Six ratings are offered, all at 1600 V VRRM: 30 A, 50 A, 60 A, 75 A, 100 A and 150 A, each rated at its own case temperature. Non-repetitive surge current rises from 300 A on the 30 A module to 1200 A on the 150 A module, and junction-to-case thermal resistance falls from 0.42 °C/W to 0.14 °C/W across the same span. Junction temperature range is -40 to +150 °C throughout.

The modules are used in three-phase AC-to-DC rectifier assemblies, AC and DC motor drive input stages, automatic voltage regulator systems, industrial switching power supplies and machine power conversion panels.

When ordering, state the DC output current required and the case temperature it has to be held at, and check the mounting and terminal arrangement: DF30AA160 has #250 quick-connect tab terminals and M6 heatsink mounting, DF60AA160 has M6 mounting holes with M5 power terminals, and the remaining models use M5 screw mounting with M5 power terminals.
