Gate Valves

Gate valves for full-bore isolation: brass and stainless steel threaded bodies, and carbon steel flanged. A gate valve belongs where it will sit either fully open or fully shut, since throttling on the gate erodes the seat and shakes the disc, and the flanged carbon steel type is the usual choice on larger water, condensate and utility lines. Specify size, end connection and flange standard, pressure class, body and trim material, and whether a rising or non-rising stem suits the headroom you have.
