Description
The rupture disc holder assembly is the fitting that carries a rupture disc in a high-pressure line. It is built from a stainless steel body, a hold-down ring that seats the disc, a lock nut that allows the disc to be changed without tools, and an integrated safety shroud that contains and directs the discharge when the disc bursts.
Two assemblies are offered. Model 35-008-000 is rated to 15,000 psi, connects by 1/2" NPTM male thread, carries a green shroud and takes GDWJ-style disc 77512042. Model 35-008-010 is rated to 20,000 psi, connects by 9/16" MP male thread, carries a blue shroud and takes GDWJ-style disc 77512003. Both use GDWJ domed-deflector disc seating, a 316 stainless steel body and a 90 durometer Buna-N O-ring, and both are designed to prevent a coin or a disc of the wrong rating being substituted for the correct one.
They are fitted to high-pressure waterblast systems, positive displacement pump circuits, hydrodemolition and surface preparation equipment, and are installed upstream of nozzles and hoses on water jetting sets.
When ordering, state the working pressure and the connection required, and order rupture discs of the matching style separately as consumables.
