Description
The DK-Lok DK-NV range is a high pressure needle valve for manual isolation and repeatable throttling on high pressure tubing systems. It is offered in three pressure classes — 20,000, 30,000 and 60,000 psig at 100 °F (38 °C) — with the bore reducing as the pressure class rises, so the model is chosen from the working pressure of the system rather than the line size alone.
The body is ASTM A276 Type 316L stainless steel with an ASTM A564 Type 630 stem, and the stem does not rotate against the seat as the valve is closed, which protects the seat and keeps the metering repeatable. Packing is PTFE as standard with graphite available as an option, and the working temperature is -100 to 600 °F (-73 to 315 °C). Both a straight pattern for inline runs and a 90-degree angle pattern for compact tubing layouts are built on the same body; angle models carry the -A suffix.
Typical duties are high pressure test and calibration equipment, chemical injection and dosing systems, instrumentation isolation and sampling lines, and hydraulic and media service where precise manual control is required.
When ordering, state the pressure class, the connection size and whether a straight or angle pattern is required, then quote the model from the specification table — DK20NV-09-S for the 20,000 psig straight valve, DK60NV-09-A for the 60,000 psig angle valve. Connection size is the same at both ends on every model listed.
