Description
The DK-Lok DK15RVS is a high pressure relief valve for service well above the range of the V63 and V66 valves. It opens at its set cracking pressure to vent excess pressure and protect pumps, gauges, instruments and downstream equipment, then reseats on a metal-to-metal seat once the line has fallen back.
The valve is set and sealed at the factory and supplied with a pressure tag, so the setting is fixed and documented rather than made on site. The unit listed is set at 10,000 psig on the KK11 spring, whose range is 10,000 to 15,000 psig, and it holds that setting to ±8 %. The body is 316 stainless steel with a Viton seal, rated for service up to 170 °C, and the inlet port is 9/16" taken through an adapter.
Typical duties are high-pressure hydraulic systems, pressure test benches and calibration rigs, protection of pumps, gauges and pressure instruments, and process skids and high-pressure utility lines.
When ordering, state the set pressure required and the connection size, and quote the order code from the specification table. Because the valve is factory set, the required cracking pressure must be given at order; it cannot be reset in the field.
