The DK-Lok V16 is a severe service union bonnet needle valve for precise throttling and leak-tight shut-off in instrument and process lines, rated to 6,000 psig at 100 °F (38 °C). The body is 316 stainless steel, which suits it to many corrosive services, and the valve is operated by an SS316 bar handle.
The union bonnet construction gives a robust joint between body and bonnet and allows the packing to be maintained. The stem tip does not rotate against the seat as the valve is closed, which reduces galling and improves sealing, and the PTFE packing sits below the stem threads so that process media does not reach the threads. The flow path through the body is inline.
Typical duties are isolation of pressure gauges and transmitters, sampling panels and analyser lines, chemical injection and dosing skids, hydraulic and pneumatic control circuits, and general high-pressure process isolation and throttling.
When ordering, state the female NPT size required and quote the order code from the specification table — V16C-F-8N-S for 1/2", V16C-F-12N-S for 3/4", V16C-F-16N-S for 1". Every code listed is the -S build in 316 stainless steel with female NPT at both ends.
