The AOS ABSOLUTE Digimatic caliper is the general-purpose digital caliper for tool rooms, QC benches and industrial stores. The ABSOLUTE AOS scale keeps its origin, so the reading is valid as soon as the instrument is switched on and the jaws do not have to be closed and re-zeroed first.
The frame, jaws and depth bar are hardened stainless steel for regular workshop handling. One instrument covers outside, inside, depth and step measurement, and the display switches between metric and inch for work to mixed drawings.
Two capacities are supplied: 500-196-30 measures 0 to 150 mm / 0 to 6 inch and 500-197-30 measures 0 to 200 mm / 0 to 8 inch. Both read to 0.01 mm / 0.0005 inch with ±0.02 mm accuracy and come with a certificate of inspection, operating instructions and an SR44 battery.
When ordering, state the capacity required. These calipers are not sealed against coolant; for use at a machine exposed to coolant or cutting oil, specify the IP67 coolant proof version instead.
