IVG Colbachini
IVG Colbachini S.p.A. has built rubber hose on a rigid mandrel at Cervarese S. Croce, near Padua in Italy, since 1966; the IVG mark moulded into the cover is the same company, and continuous lengths run to 120 m. Four of its families appear here. Steam: Manitoba, textile reinforced at 6 bar and 165 C, and Victoria, steel-wire reinforced at 18 bar and 210 C, both on an EPDM tube. Water suction and delivery: the hardwall Toronto and corrugated Amburgo, the softwall Montreal, and the Oslo lay-flat discharge range. Oil suction and delivery: SAE 100 R4 - the only SAE J517 type IVG publishes - together with Tallin, Malmo and Ivalo. Abrasive and chemical service: Volga for dry cement, sand and gravel, and the EPDM Everest and Orlando ranges built to EN 12115. One point worth stating plainly, because the older copy on this site got it wrong: IVG does not publish wire-braid or spiral hydraulic hose to SAE 100 R1 through R13. That is a different manufacturer's product and should be specified as such. When ordering, give the bore, the working pressure, the temperature and the medium, and say whether the duty needs a hardwall helix-reinforced hose that can take suction or a softwall hose for delivery only.
