The WDE-K50 is a horizontal Woltmann water meter for cold potable water on bulk supply and distribution mains. A helical rotor set in the bore turns with the flow and drives the sealed dry dial register through a magnetic coupling. The measuring insert is removable, so the element can be exchanged or sent for verification without cutting the body out of the line.
The body is cast iron with PN16 flanges to ISO 7005-2 / EN 1092-2, in six sizes from DN50 (2") to DN200 (8"). Permanent flow rate Q3 runs from 40 to 400 m³/h and minimum flow rate Q1 from 0.40 to 4.00 m³/h, with a measuring ratio of R100 in both horizontal and vertical mounting. Maximum working pressure is 16 bar and the permissible medium temperature is +0.1 to 50 °C, the T50 cold water class. The register is protected to IP68 and the magnetic transmission includes anti-magnetic fraud protection.
It suits utility distribution networks, industrial process water lines and high-flow commercial metering points. All sizes are pre-equipped for remote reading; the IWM-MB4 wired M-BUS module is the matching unit for this series.
When ordering, state the nominal size, the flange standard and drilling, the mounting position, and whether a remote reading module is required. Straight pipe runs upstream and downstream of the meter should follow the installation instructions for the size selected.
