Description
The WIKA model 111.10 is the standard-version Bourdon tube pressure gauge in WIKA's range: a cost-effective dry instrument with a black case, designed to EN 837-1 or ASME B40.100. Model 111.12 is the sibling with centre back mount. WIKA describes the line as suitable for pneumatics, heating and air-conditioning technology and medical engineering, and it is certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61-G.
The measuring element is a C-type or helical Bourdon tube in copper alloy, with a copper alloy process connection and movement, so the gauge is for vapour-phase and liquid media that are not highly viscous or crystallising and that will not attack copper alloy. The window is crystal-clear plastic snap-fitted into the case; the case itself is black plastic or black steel depending on version and size.
Nominal sizes are 40, 50, 63, 80, 100 and 160 mm - the 160 mm size only on model 111.10 with a steel case. Scale ranges run to 0 ... 400 bar (0 ... 6,000 psi) with accuracy class 1.6 or 2.5 to EN 837-1, or grade B to ASME B40.100. Note that ingress protection is modest by design: IP33 at NS 40 to 63 and IP44 at NS 80 to 160.
When ordering, specify nominal size, scale range and unit, case material, connection location (lower or centre back mount, the latter not available at NS 160) and thread - G 1/8 B, G 1/4 B or G 1/2 B to EN 837-1, 1/8, 1/4 or 1/2 NPT, or R 1/8, R 1/4 or R 1/2 to ISO 7.
