Description
The WIKA model 111.10SP is the sprinkler variant of the standard 111.10 Bourdon tube gauge, built specifically for fire protection service. It is UL listed to UL 393 for the United States and Canada and Factory Mutual approved, which is what specifying authorities require of a gauge fitted to a sprinkler riser.
The instrument is designed to EN 837-1 and ASME B40.100 in a single nominal size, 4" (100 mm). The Bourdon tube is C-shape copper alloy, the pressure connection is copper alloy with a 1/4" NPT lower mount thread, and the movement is copper alloy. The case is black polycarbonate with a snap-in clear polycarbonate window, a white aluminium dial with stop pin, and a black aluminium pointer.
Scale ranges are those of the sprinkler duty rather than a general industrial series: 0/80 psi retard to 250 psi for air, and 0/300, 0/400 or 0/600 psi for water. Accuracy is +/-3/2/3 % of span, ASME B40.100 grade B. Media temperature is limited to 140 °F (+60 °C) and ambient to -40 to 140 °F.
When ordering, specify the scale range and service - air or water - since these determine the dial legend, and note that optional extras such as a brass restrictor or a custom dial layout are not all covered by the UL or FM approvals.
