Description
The WIKA CPG1500 is the precision member of WIKA's digital pressure gauge range, intended for calibration and pressure testing rather than general indication. It adopts the form of an analogue gauge but delivers a total measurement uncertainty of 0.025 %, 0.05 %, 0.1 % or 0.5 % of full span, temperature-compensated over -10 to +50 °C.
Measuring ranges run from 0 ... 0.1 bar to 0 ... 10,000 bar (0 ... 150,000 psi) for gauge pressure, with absolute and vacuum or compound versions. WIKA names the hydrocarbon processing industry, maintenance and service facilities, calibration service companies and on-site calibration as the applications.
The 5-1/2-digit display runs from -199999 to 199999 digits with adjustable resolution and reads in 26 pressure units and 5 level units, or a custom unit. A logger records up to 50 measured values per second, and Bluetooth links the instrument to WIKA-Cal calibration software. Three AA cells give typically 2,000 to 2,500 hours, and an intrinsically safe version is available.
The case is nickel-plated die-cast aluminium, rotatable through 330 degrees, to IP65. Wetted parts vary with range: stainless steel 1.4404 (316L) to below 40 bar, 316L process connection with an Elgiloy 2.4711 sensor from 40 to 1,000 bar, and 1.4534 (904L) above 1,000 bar. Note that ranges above 600 bar (10,000 psi) are not available as a flush version, and several high ranges are excluded under CSA approval.
