Description
The DK-Lok DK-BV is a high pressure ball valve for two-way on/off isolation in instrument and process lines, rated to 20,000 psig. It is built for high pressure tubing systems and test panels where a positive, quickly operated shut-off is wanted rather than throttling.
The trunnion-mounted ball is turned a quarter turn by the lever handle to open or close, which makes the valve position visible at a glance from the handle. The seat is PEEK, chosen for its resistance to abrasion, friction and chemical attack, and sealing is by Viton O-rings; the body is 316 stainless steel. Working temperature is -100 to 600 °F (-73 to 315 °C).
Typical duties are high pressure hydraulic and instrumentation systems, pressure testing and calibration rigs, sampling and injection lines, and high pressure media service and industrial utilities.
Connections are 9/16" tube OD at both ends. Quote model DK20BV-09-S when ordering, and confirm seat and seal compatibility with the process medium and temperature before use.
