Description
The DK-Lok V33 is a poppet check valve used to hold flow in one direction and to protect upstream equipment from reverse flow in instrument and process tubing. The body is 316 stainless steel and the seal is FKM (Viton).
A spring holds the poppet against its seat until the pressure difference across the valve reaches the cracking pressure, at which point the poppet lifts and flow passes; when the difference falls away or reverses, the spring reseats the poppet. The valves listed here are the fixed 1/3 psi cracking pressure build, denoted by the 1/3 designator in the order code, which gives a sensitive flow start for low differential duties. Each valve is factory tested for cracking and reseal.
End connections are DK-Lok double-ferrule tube fittings, so the valve is installed into tubing without welding or threading the tube. Typical duties are instrument impulse lines and sampling systems, hydraulic and pneumatic utility circuits, chemical processing and general process tubing, and power generation and oil and media service lines.
When ordering, state the tube outside diameter and quote the order code from the specification table — V33B-D-6T-1/3-S for 3/8" tube OD, V33C-D-8T-1/3-S for 1/2" tube OD. Both codes are the -S build in 316 stainless steel.
