MECLUBE 12 V DC Diesel Transfer Pump Kit, Drum Mounted

A complete drum-top refuelling set built around a 12 V DC self-priming pump. The pump screws into the drum bung on a threaded adaptor, draws through a suction tube reaching the bottom of the drum, and delivers through a mechanical litre meter to a hose and automatic nozzle. Power comes from a vehicle or plant battery through the crocodile clips supplied, so the set works anywhere on site without mains supply.

The metering unit fitted to the set photographed here is the MECLUBE 3C mechanical volumetric flow meter. It reads 20 to 120 l/min to an accuracy of ±1 % at up to 10 bar, with a six-digit cumulative totaliser and a three-digit partial register to 999 litres that is reset with the side knob. Both meter ports are female 1" BSP parallel, and the meter is calibrated by regulation screws inside the body.

This is diesel equipment. A standard 12 V DC pump set carries no explosion-protection approval and must not be used for petrol or any other low-flashpoint fuel; MECLUBE publishes a separate ATEX-rated mechanical meter for petrol service, article 092-5160-000. Confirm the fuel before ordering.

When ordering, state the drum or tank the set has to sit on (the suction tube length is fixed by it), the delivery rate wanted, the hose length, and whether the nozzle should be automatic or manual. Battery voltage — 12 V or 24 V — must also be stated; the pump housing on this set is marked 12 V DC.
