MECLUBE 4C Mechanical Flow Meter, 20-120 l/min

The 4C is a mechanical volumetric (positive displacement) flow meter for diesel and low-viscosity oil. Fluid entering the body displaces a measuring element by a fixed volume per cycle, and that motion is geared directly to the counter drums on the dial. Because measurement is mechanical, the meter needs no power and works equally well fed by a motor pump or by gravity from a raised tank.

The dial carries two registers: an eight-digit cumulative totaliser that cannot be reset, and a four-digit partial totaliser reading to a maximum of 9 999 litres that is returned to zero with the knob on the side of the case. Regulation screws inside the body allow the meter to be calibrated in service, and the outlet can be rotated so the meter can be fitted with the delivery leaving in whichever direction the installation requires.

Rated flow is 20 to 120 l/min at up to 10 bar working pressure, with an accuracy of ±1 %. Inlet and outlet are both female 1" BSP parallel (BSPG). MECLUBE lists diesel and low-viscosity oil of 2 to 2 000 cSt as the permitted fluids.

Note the marking on the dial face itself: this meter is not approved for commercial or fiscal measurement — it is not for use in the resale of fuel to the public. Where fuel is being sold, a legally verified meter is required instead.
