Description
The twin series carries two tubes in one body, with a single bolt through the middle of the cover plate. It halves the number of fixings and the amount of rail on a run of paired pressure and return lines, and it keeps the pair at a fixed spacing so they cannot rub against one another.
DIN 3015 Part 3 is the twin series; the product name is a direct reference to it. The series covers outside diameters up to 42 mm, so it is a small-bore clamp - larger tube goes into the standard series of Part 1, up to 102 mm, or the heavy series of Part 2, up to 450 mm.
As with any DIN 3015 clamp, the body polymer sets the service range: STAUFF publishes -30 to +90 degrees C continuous for polypropylene and -40 to +120 degrees C for polyamide, with polyamide the better choice for UV and weather exposure. Clamps are ordered by tube outside diameter, and the two bores in a twin body are the same size.
State at order: tube outside diameter, body material, mounting hardware and whether stainless fixings are required.
