Sanitary Sight Glass Assembly with Diaphragm Seal Gauge

A sight glass lets an operator see the product passing a filter or vessel outlet without breaking into the line, and on a clean-process installation it is normally supplied as a kit with its own seals and a local pressure indication. This assembly is supplied for Orion 40 and Zenit 40 filter service in pharmaceutical and clean-process duty.

The set comprises the stainless steel sight glass housing with a DN32 clamp connection at the bottom and a DN25 threaded connection at the top, a 3/8" female side port fitted with a stainless steel vent valve and its seal, a DN25 top-slot seal, two gaskets for the sight glass tube, and the sight glass tube itself. The vent valve is visible on the side of the housing and is operated by a knurled hand knob.

Pressure indication is by a liquid-filled stainless steel gauge on a stainless steel diaphragm seal with a DN25 clamp connection, so the medium is separated from the measuring element. The dial of the gauge supplied in the product photograph is marked EN 837-1, AISI 316L and CL. 1.6, and is dual-scaled in bar and psi over a 0 to 10 bar range.
