The WIKA model A-10 is a piezoresistive pressure transmitter for general industrial pressure measurement. It is supplied in gauge, absolute and vacuum/compound versions, with gauge ranges from 0…0.05 bar to 0…1,000 bar [0…1 to 0…15,000 psi] and absolute ranges from 0…0.1 to 0…25 bar abs. Non-linearity is ≤ ±0.5 % of span, or ≤ ±0.25 % of span for ranges above 0.1 bar.
The measuring cell is welded into a stainless steel process connection. Wetted parts are stainless steel 316L below 10 bar, and 316L with PH grade steel at and above 10 bar, where the cell runs dry rather than oil-filled. Output is 4…20 mA two-wire, or a three-wire DC voltage signal (0…10 V, 0…5 V, 1…5 V, 0.5…4.5 V), or a ratiometric DC 0.5…4.5 V signal against a 5 V supply.
Typical duties are machine building, measurement and control, hydraulics and pneumatics, pumps and compressors, and shipbuilding. Service life is up to 100 million load cycles for measuring ranges above 0.1 bar.
When ordering, state the measuring range and pressure type, the output signal and supply voltage, the process connection and its seal, the electrical connection — which sets the ingress protection at IP65 or IP67 — and the required medium temperature range.
