Description
The WIKA model S-20 is a pressure transmitter for demanding industrial measuring tasks. It is available in gauge ranges from 0…0.4 bar to 0…1,600 bar [0…10 to 0…20,000 psi], absolute ranges from 0…0.4 to 0…40 bar abs., and vacuum/compound ranges from -0.4…0 bar to -1…+59 bar. It is vacuum resistant.
Three accuracy classes are offered, with non-linearity of ≤ ±0.5 %, ≤ ±0.25 % or ≤ ±0.125 % of span (BFSL per IEC 61298-2), and long-term drift of ≤ ±0.1 % of span (≤ ±0.2 % of span for special measuring ranges and ranges below 1 bar). The adjustment temperature can be selected at +4, +40, +60 or +80 °C so the temperature error is minimised around the actual operating point. Output is 4…20 mA or 20…4 mA two-wire, one of six three-wire DC voltage signals, or ratiometric DC 0.5…4.5 V.
Wetted parts are stainless steel 316L up to 25 bar, 316L with PH grade steel above 25 bar, and ASTM 630 with PH grade steel above 1,000 bar. Medium temperature is -30…+100 °C as standard and up to -40…+200 °C with an integrated cooling element. Versions for oxygen and hydrogen service and for high cleanliness are available; the oxygen version is limited to a medium temperature of -20…+60 °C and a 400 bar maximum range, while it is the hydrogen version that has 316L and Elgiloy (2.4711) wetted parts.
When ordering, state the measuring range and pressure type, the accuracy class and any adjustment temperature, the output signal, the process connection and seal, and the electrical connection, which fixes ingress protection at IP65, IP67, IP68 or IP6K9K.
