The WIKA model R-1 is a pressure transmitter developed for heating, refrigeration and air-conditioning service. Gauge ranges run from 0…6 bar to 0…160 bar [0…100 to 0…2,400 psi], with vacuum and compound ranges from -1…+7 bar to -1…+45 bar and -0.5…+7 / -0.5…+10 bar. Non-linearity is ≤ ±0.5 % of span (BFSL per IEC 61298-2).
The instrument is built without an elastomer seal: the measuring cell is welded directly to the process connection, and the sensor and process connection are stainless steel throughout, so there is no soft seal in the refrigerant path to permeate or age. The data sheet states the instrument is suitable for flammable refrigerants. Permissible medium temperature is -40…+100 °C, ambient -25…+85 °C, and service life is 10 million load cycles.
Process connections include the 7/16-20 UNF-2B Schrader connection (to 60 bar), a 7/16-20 UNF-2A 90° fitting compatible with SAE J513, G¼B per EN 837, ⅛ and ¼ NPT, R¼ and a stainless steel blowpipe version. Electrical connection is an M12 × 1 circular connector, a Metri-Pack series 150 connector or a cable outlet.
When ordering, state the measuring range, the output signal and matching supply voltage, the process connection, and the electrical connection — the plug connection is IP67 and the cable outlet version is IP69K.
