Description
A differential pressure gauge indicates the difference between two pressures rather than a single line pressure, which is what makes it the standard instrument for judging when a filter or strainer element is blinding, and for watching pump and heat exchanger performance.
WIKA's DELTA range covers the three usual requirements from one mechanical platform. The DPG40 (DELTA-plus, data sheet PM 07.20) is the purely mechanical gauge with integrated working pressure indication, so the operator reads both the differential and the line pressure from one instrument. The DPGS40 (DELTA-comb, PV 27.20) adds microswitches for alarm or trip duty. The DPGT40 (DELTA-trans, PV 17.19) adds an electrical output signal for transmission to a control system.
Alongside the DELTA range WIKA publishes further differential pressure gauges for particular duties, among them the compact 716.05 (PM 07.12), the 716.11 and 736.11 for very low differentials from 2.5 mbar (PM 07.07), the 732.14 and 733.14 with high overload safety (PM 07.13), the 712.15 and 732.15 Cryo Gauges (PM 07.29 and PM 07.30) and the 700.01 and 700.02 magnetic piston gauges (PM 07.14).
