Description
The WIKA DSS26T and DSS27T are pressure sensors mounted to a flanged diaphragm seal, for aggressive, highly viscous, crystallising or hot media in chemical and petrochemical plant, process plant, and machine building and plant construction. The all-welded flange needs no separate sealings or clamping elements and bolts directly to a standard process flange.
Both models give a 4…20 mA two-wire output on a DC 8…35 V supply with accuracy at reference conditions of ≤ ±0.5 % of span, and share vacuum and compound ranges -1…+5, -1…+9 and -1…+10 bar. The wetted diaphragm is stainless steel 1.4435 [316L], the case is 1.4571 [316Ti] and the system fill fluid is silicone oil KN 2. Permissible medium temperature is -10…+150 °C, ambient 10…40 °C, and ingress protection is IP65 per IEC/EN 60529.
The DSS26T has an internal, recessed diaphragm behind an open flange, for small flange connections: DN 25 PN 10/40 per EN 1092-1 form B1, or ½" and 1" Class 150/300 per ASME B16.5 raised face. Its gauge ranges are 0…6 to 0…25 bar.
The DSS27T has a flush welded diaphragm level with the flange face, which suits media that would pack into a recessed diaphragm. It is offered in DN 50 PN 10/40 and DN 80 PN 10/16 or 25/40 per EN 1092-1 form B1, or 2" and 3" Class 150/300 per ASME B16.5, with gauge ranges 0…1 to 0…40 bar. When ordering, state the model, the scale range and the flange standard, nominal size and pressure class.
