Description
The WIKA DSS34M is a pressure gauge assembly for aggressive, contaminated or hot media in the process industry and in water treatment. A stainless steel diaphragm isolates the medium from the measuring system and transmits pressure to the Bourdon tube through the system fill fluid, so the gauge itself never sees the process fluid.
It is the welded counterpart to the DSS10M. Where DSS10M has screwed diaphragm seal parts and a replaceable lower body, DSS34M is of welded design, which suits it to duties where a permanently sealed assembly is preferred. An internal diaphragm is available as an option, and the diaphragm seal is direct-mounted to the gauge as standard so the pressure is read at the measuring point.
Nominal size is 100 mm at accuracy class 1.0, with a scale range of 0 ... 1 to 0 ... 60 bar (0 ... 15 to 0 ... 800 psi) and vacuum or compound ranges of -1 ... +5, -1 ... +9 and -1 ... +10 bar. Process connections are G 1/2 or 1/2 NPT, wetted parts are stainless steel 1.4435 (316L) or Hastelloy C276, and the system fill fluid is silicone oil KN 2.
Permissible medium temperature is -10 to 150 °C, ambient 10 to 40 °C, and ingress protection is IP65. When ordering, specify scale range, process connection thread and wetted material.
