Description
The WIKA model MG-1 is a pressure sensor for medical pipeline services and for oxygen service. It is manufactured and packed to defined cleanliness levels, and the wetted parts are supplied oil- and grease-free.
Measuring ranges are 0…6, 0…10 and 0…16 bar and 0…200, 0…300 and 0…400 bar [0…100 to 0…5,000 psi], also available in kg/cm², MPa and kPa, with vacuum and ± ranges available; the sensor is vacuum tight. Accuracy at reference conditions is ≤ ±2 % of span, non-linearity ≤ ±0.5 % of span BFSL, long-term drift ≤ 0.3 % of span per year and settling time ≤ 2 ms.
Four cleanliness levels are offered with three packaging variants: breathing media (oil and grease free, residual hydrocarbons < 1,000 mg/m²), medical standard per ISO 15001 (< 550 mg/m² below 30 bar, < 220 mg/m² above), industrial standard per ASTM G93 level D/E, and high industrial standard per ASTM G93 level C (< 66 mg/m²). Wetted parts are stainless steel 316L and 13-8 PH with an FKM sealing ring where one is fitted, and the case is stainless steel 316L.
Ingress protection is IP67, and the permissible ambient and medium temperature range is -20…+70 °C. When ordering, state the measuring range and unit, the output signal with its matching supply voltage, the process connection, the electrical connection (M12 × 1 circular connector or 2 m cable outlet) and the required cleanliness level and packaging.
