Description

This listing is carried under the name Trela Couplings. The name could not be matched to any published coupling pattern, standard or manufacturer designation, so the description below records only what the product photograph shows and asserts no specification.

The photograph shows a small coupling with a stainless finish, in mating halves. Each half carries two cast horn-shaped lugs for hand tightening, and the halves are drawn together on a screwed connection with a seal seated in the female bore; a plain hexagon nipple is shown alongside. Bore, thread form and size, body material, seal material and pressure rating cannot be read from the image and are not stated anywhere in the catalogue data.

Note that Trellex, a similar-sounding name, is a different product entirely - the split-flange couplings used on abrasive slurry hose in mining - and should not be assumed to be what is meant here.

Before this item is quoted, confirm with Al Taiyeb which pattern it is, along with the bore, the thread form and size, the body and seal materials, and the working pressure. The specification table is deliberately empty rather than filled with plausible figures.
